Wastewater treatment and reuse in agricultural irrigation is safe and viable approach within our strategy to conserve non-renewable water resources and promote the utilization of non-conventional water resources as an effective and additional alternative.
In this sense, Dr. Fatima Al Hamdi’s research shows that the use of treated wastewater in agriculture leads to better crop growth and production, especially with hydroponics. By using recycled water, we can secure additional water resources that contribute to food security and a sustainable future.
