H.E. Saeed Hamad Al Dhaheri is the Chairman of SWS Holding. With over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and management, H.E. Al Dhaheri has held significant roles in UAE government entities such as Abu Dhabi Media Company, Etihad Rail, and Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA). He was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and at TAQA, he oversaw the company's merger with ADPower and served as Deputy CEO, leading organizational strategy as the Chief Human Capital & Corporate Support Officer.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Eckerd College in Florida, USA, and a Master's in Human Resources Management.

Dr. Shaikha Al Dhaheri is the Secretary General of the Environment Agency in Abu Dhabi. She is a renowned expert in environmental protection and species conservation, overseeing the implementation of major programs on biodiversity, protected areas, threatened species, and fisheries. As the first Emirati woman to earn a Ph.D. in Wildlife Conservation and Protection from the University of Aberdeen, she holds two Master’s degrees and a Bachelor’s degree from UAE University.

Since joining the Emirates Agency in 2000, Dr. Al Dhaheri has served as the Executive Director of the Terrestrial and Marine Biodiversity Sector and is a member of several committees and councils in the UAE. She is a board member of SWS , sits on the Board of Directors of Al Ain Wildlife Park and Resort, Emirates Nature-WWF, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, the Advanced Technology Research Council, and the International Fund for Houbara Conservation. She is also a member of the Abu Dhabi University Board of Trustees. 

Dr. Al Dhaheri's accolades include winning the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance and the Al Dana Excellence Award. She is also a recipient of the Rashid Bin Maktoum Awards for Scientific Excellence. Along with all her accomplishments, Dr. Al Dhaheri is also the mother of five boys.

Eng. Ahmad Al Shamsi, a distinguished leader with over 20 years of experience, serves as the Managing Director and CEO of SWS Holding, and the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Water Solutions Company, a pioneer in providing sustainable solutions for water security and circularity.

Under his guidance, the company, formerly known as Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC), underwent a repositioning with the aim to revolutionize the global water industry by empowering communities with impactful and sustainable water solutions.

Eng. Al Shamsi has held influential roles in organizations such as ADNOC Distribution and Borouge, contributing significantly to their success. He is the Chairman of UPP and an Executive Committee Member of the World Utilities Congress. He has also served on the board of Ruwais Fertilizer Industries and the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association’s Supply Chain Committee. 

Eng. Al Shamsi holds a Master’s degree in Quality Management from the University of Wollongong, a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa, and a Leadership Excellence certificate from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).

Mr. Al Shamsi is the Associate Director in ADQ, he is in charge of leading the Energy and Utilities team and manages several major investments for the Company.

Ahmed holds a Master’s in International Development and Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, both from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Al Shamsi is highly experienced in the field of development and management of regional and international ventures in the utilities industry. His expertise in the industry was honed by taking on several different leading positions of esteemed large organizations including the Head of Business Development for Transmission and Distribution in TAQA, and he was also Head of Utilities Special Projects of Mubadala Investment Company.

Mr. Khalifa Alblooshi graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 2011. He joined Mubadala shortly thereafter and focused on real estate investments, working on deals in the US, Russia, and the Asia Pacific. During that time, he passed the CFA Level 1 exam and was seconded to Prudential Real Estate Investments in San Francisco for nine months, working on real estate opportunities on the west coast.

After spending eight years at Mubadala, Mr. Alblooshi moved to ADQ to join the Energy and Utilities team. He now manages several assets within the sector and plays a key role in transforming the companies under management.

Mr. Othman Juma Al Ali is the current Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Water and Electricity Company. Under his leadership, he led the organization to undertake major projects to enhance the efficiency, innovation, and development of water and power projects, thereby strengthening the national and international partnerships to deliver secure water and power supply in the UAE. 

Mr. Al Ali has 20 years of experience in both the private and public sectors while holding leadership roles in the utilities and banking industries. He has spearheaded the implementation of transformation and innovative strategies for the success of organizations and has firmly supported the UAE government’s energy vision to diversify the economy. He has extensive experience in promoting sustainability, ensuring revenue growth and cost efficiency while helping the organization succeed in its business goals. 

Mr. Al Ali holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Sharjah University with a focus on accounting, finance, economics, and management. He also participated in and completed the UAE Government Leadership Programme in partnership with Duke, Ashridge, and INSEAD.

Mr. Salmeen Alameri is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Silal, part of ADQ, one of the region’s largest holding companies. He has led the organization since January 2022 and under his leadership, he is directing the company’s strategic growth as well as overseeing all aspects of the business. He currently also serves on the board of directors of Agthia and Agility Abu Dhabi. 

Before joining Silal, he held prominent positions such as CEO of Al Dahra UAE, Managing Director of Al Dahra Serbia, as well as other senior positions in Abu Dhabi Terminals Company. 

He has over 20 years of experience as an accomplished business leader and has mastered his skills and expertise in managing organizations in key industries locally and internationally. His specializations include sharing his knowledge and expertise in the advancement of technology in agricultural practices. 

Mr. Alameri holds a Master’s degree in Management, Communications Marketing, and Media from the Paris Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi.
